(More customer reviews)I spent a month looking at everything I could to find the very best. I was interested in primarily two things; static water lift capability and the lowest sound pressure level. The Attix 10 and Attix 8 are the winners in that respect. There is no over exagerated manufacturers' ratings. Very solid. The messured average sound pressure level is 60db. I can talk to my wife while it is being used in the house without having to shout at her. The motor has bypass cooling as well. This means that the motor is always being cooled even if the hose is plugged. You DO NOT HAVE TO REMOVE THE FILTER FOR WATER PICKUP. The main filter is washable and lasts a long time. (More customer reviews)I have always been back and forth on the best polish to use, I have used mothers and lets face it, it is okay but a big pain and mess. The latest stuff I used was blue magic and lets just say you get less then what you pay for. I was about to get my truck washed and was talking to the detailer about the tanks and boxes and he mentioned trying this stuff. Everyone thinks the stuff they use is better so I gave him the old ya sure I'll check it out comment. After the wash he came out with a bottle just about empty and said here there isn't much there but now you can see how it works and know what to look for.
I'm very impressed, so easy to use and it doesn't take much at all. Easy to apply and not much effort needed. The moment you put it on you can see it working and the finished results man amazing. My search for a good polish is over and I spread the word to everyone every time someone asks me where did you get your wheels and tanks cut at....they aren't they are just polished!!Great product at a fair price. Now that doesn't happen often!

(More customer reviews)Picked this Ridgid 1250 up for [...] bucks, not on sale, at the local Home store. At first, everything seemed fantastic with this product. Large hose, nice attachments that store on the unit, powerful suction, rolls smoothly. Great.
However, after vacuuming up about 1 ounce of dirt, when the machine was switched off, there was dirt pouring out of the sides of the unit (where the top meets the base). Fail. The base has a 1/2 inch flat area where it meets the top, and that 1/2 inch lip was covered with dirt, which then proceeded to drop onto the just-vacuumed floor. I removed the top to investigate, and POOF, a giant amount of dirt dropped onto the just-vacuumed floor. Double fail.
I'm always amazed when products get past so many designers and engineers, yet immediately fail in the hands of consumers while performing the most basic of expected functions. Perhaps Ridgid focused on testing only suction performance, and forgot to actually vacuum some dirt.
This one is going back, will try the Ridgid 1450 instead.

(More customer reviews)If you want an ash vacuum or ash separator attachment do not buy this one.Fireplace Wood Coal Stove Ash Vacuum Cleaner This is not a Fireplace Wood Coal Stove Ash Vacuum Cleaner as advertized. It is a heavy particle separator vacuum attachment, trapping only heavy ash, pellets, and coal. The lighter ash that is so destructive to vacuums and filter is past straight through plugging everything and getting to the vacuum motors when filters fail. Paying a restocking fee for false advertising and or defective design is just grossly wrong. If you bought it, to prevent paying restocking fees I recommend adding an ash filter inside the canister where the exterior vacuum is attached.

Immediately got to work with the Hoover steam cleaner and extracted all the liquid but no matter what we tried on it, a brown stain was left on the light colored carpet. Someone suggested I try 1-Lifter carpet cleaner from the auto parts store. No rubbing, just sprayed it on and the stain disappeared before my eyes. This stuff is a miracle-worker! Works on red wine, juice, etc. as well. I immediately bought four more cans to keep on hand.

(More customer reviews)Just about what I expected at the price. I use Simple Green in it - solvents are not usable w/ this w/o a serious hazard. After a year is has some rust in it but has held up well considering I wash fairly heavy parts in it. The pump system works fine and looks like it will last for a while. Good pressure out of the unit. I would recommend getting hose/brush with it though.

With further experimentation we discovered that if you throw the dirty pads in a washing machine and then in the dryer you achieve the same goal with way less hassle.
Final Analysis: Skip this product and use the washing machine.

Novus 123 Plastic Polish Kit 8oz. With Extra Polish Mate Pack Review

(More customer reviews)I ordered this product based in some reviews and I have no words to express my total disapointment...The number three is nothing else than a cleaner, similar to any LCD cleaner, that does no more than water alone. Number three is very rough, and number two do not offer a fine polish, not better at least than any auto detailing product of the market. Mother's scratch remover or McGuire's scratch-x work far better for example...

First let me say that I'm very familiar with polishing techniques, as I'm an auto detailer, I got this one to polish the trim of an LCD TV, that the products I have refuse to finish properly, but the scratches lead to a haze blemish after using the number two, and what initially was a fine scratch now has become an hazed spot, impossible to remove. NOT EVEN AN ELECTRIC BUFFER FIXES IT NOW!!!
If you want to restore plastic any auto detailing product will work far better than this product, the polishing cloth are nothing more than a glorified paper towel pieces, that's it. I was expecting at least a microfiber towel, nope, a paper towel period...
Resuming, number three is too rough, number two does not polish what number three does, and number one is nothing else than a LCD water based cleaner...
Stay away from this rip off, you will be better served by any auto detailing product, that are cheaper and easier to find...

(More customer reviews)I purchased Model 16004QV. This is one great dust collecting machine. I used a 2 1/2 to 1 1/4 inch adapter to hook my Porter Cable sander to the vacuum. In my kitchen I have Parquet floors that needed refinishing. I sanded the floor three times and applied poly after each sanding. After the final coat had dried I used a wet paper towel to wipe the counter tops, absolutley no dust on counters. The only regret that I have is that the Turbo Carpet Head and Deluxe Floor tool were not available from Tool Crib. I purchased these seperately from Love-less Ash Company. I almost lost my vac. when my wife used the carpet head in the house. It vacuums carpets better than the Kirby or other machines I have used. The crevice tool supplied really gets the dust and dirt out of corners and on top of base boards. I don't ever plan on sanding again without my Love-less attached to the sander. I can see no reason to have a dust table to sand on when you can purchase this vacuum so economical. It is a must for every woodworkers shop.

I used a little permatex on the mounting surface so I knew I had an airtight seal. Remeber to use K&N filter RB-0910 for this adaptor. the adaptor is oval and the filter is round but is mounts without any issues.
