I purchased a 2004 Mustang convertible and the owner told me she had never cleaned the top with anything but the standard car wash soaps. The car was kept under a carport but not garaged and was visibly dirty and had mold spots. I used the product as per the directions and with two applications of cleaner and light scrubbing the topped cleaned up very well. I applied the whole can of protectant in three coats over several hours. The top now looks like brand new. water beads and repels off the top now. This is a great product. Pricey...but well worth the money to preserve a convertible top.
