(More customer reviews)My 15 year old Ford Ranger truck sits in the driveway shimmmering in the late afternoon light. I just waxed it with the Platinum Ultra Gloss, I use the paste not the liquid. It looks like it just came off the showroom floor! I have used Turtle Wax Platinum since I bought it new. It isn't garage kept and has endured both sun and snow.
I wax it about 2 or 3 times a year. I think the wax lasts for about 4 to 6 months. A tub of wax lasts years. I bought a tub 7 years ago and I am finally ready for a new one.
I have used lots of waxes in my day, mostly Turtle waxes, but I swear by this particular one.
It takes a little effort to apply and rub or buff off but it is worth it. I recommend 2 coats or even 3 coats for the roof and hood or problem spots. It seems to make the shine even shinier or deeper as they say.
