(More customer reviews)I purchased a set of Silblades for my car and they worked wonderfully for the winter that I purchased them for - definitely better than a set of $5 ones from Kragen. But, the next year they were already streaking and chattering, much against their claim of long lasting goodness.
I attempted to take advantage of their 5 year warranty, but after multiple attempts, have not gotten through. At the time, the US distributor had no form of e-mail contact. I've called several times to find out that the 3rd call later, they close their offices at about 4pm their local time. Even when open, the phone number is not the primary distributor, but the line of the office they seem to be located in. Each time I've left voicemails or a message with someone and none of those calls have been returned.
In summary, the product worked wonderfully for a single season, but does not last throughout their claimed 5 years. They have no customer service line to help those folks who have questions or need to make use of their warranty.

Eagle One 1035605 Nevr-Dull Wadding Polish Review

(More customer reviews)In searching for something to polish some chrome on my old truck, I had recieved several recommendations on Nevr-Dull Wadding Polish from a truck enthusiast website. I thought it was time to try it myself, so I ordered a can. In typical Amazon.com fashion, of course, I received it in no time flat.
Like a new toy, I just had to see what it could do as soon as I received it. So first I polished my wedding ring, which had been looking pretty shabby. It shined like the day I put it on! Then I polished my wife's ring... and then my silver chain-necklace and pendant, and then her necklace... and then a couple of pennies for the kids, which came out looking freshly minted. I was on a roll! This stuff did such a great job, it MADE me want to polish things!
So what next? I took it out to the garage to face the ultimate challenge, my 1967 Ford truck. I polished part of the bumper, then a mirror support, then the chrome headliner trim, then a few knobs... this stuff was making things shine like brand new! It even was taking rust from the pits on the headliner trim! Of course, it won't make deep scratches go away, but it will do a solid job on oxidation and light surface rust.
I highly recommend this for anything you need to polish. It does a great job, does not really leave any residue, and a little piece goes a LONG way. Just shine with a small piece of wadding, then buff out with a soft, dry cloth. It's easy, and you won't be disappointed!

3M-5975 PAINT BUSTER HAND CLEANER Review

Liquid Leather Color Pen Repair Kit- 7 Colors Review

(More customer reviews)I ordered this product to repair some cat claw damage to an ivory leather chair arm - the cats liked to be on the arm while we sat in the chair, but then jumped off and their back claws damaged the leather in several places before we quit letting them be on this piece.
The ivory color was not too hard to recreate, but it took many tests on an inconspicuous spot on the bottom of the ottoman to get the color exactly right. I used the included color matching table and started with a small amount of white, added a TINY amount of yellow (not even a drop), then had to re-add several drops of white (the yellow is EXTREMELY vibrant and overpowers the white easily). With a final small amount of brown - again, not even a whole drop - I got an exact match and applied it to the arm of the chair with the included small flat plastic applicator. I didn't mix up enough to need the sponge-tipped tube applicator, so cannot comment on that part of the kit.
The only way you can tell a repair has been done is to look in very bright light at an angle. The color is exactly the same, but the reflectivity of the repaired areas is a bit duller than the original leather. I can probably use a leather conditioning product on the entire area to fix this, but haven't done so because the chair is not where the lighting will ever be bright enough to have this be an issue.
I think this is an extremely cost-effective product which, though it takes some time to get the color right, can certainly be used to do minor repairs such as cat damage. I don't know how it would handle larger damage.

That is nice as it helps to practice a lot to get the feel down on how it works and to get the color right if repairing something other than black or white. It does work very well and I would recommend it very much so. One point however, you need not heat the "anvil" up to the point of it being red hot as the instructions state. In fact, if you were to get it red hot or try it burns right throug the material. (Note: This is why it is good to practice some!)

(More customer reviews)This product works exactly as described. I repaired a 1967 Honda S90 Fuel Tank with this product and it removed the rust and sealed it very well. All of the rust was not removed, but they were clear in the instructions that this was not necessary. The key is not to rush the project and follow the instructions exactly. If I were to do it again, I would spend a little more time on the rust removal step since I only repeated it 2X. Good product that I would recommend to anyone.
