Essentially, do not clean/condition light-color leather and then sit in with dark-leather clothing...The dryer clothing will want to mate to the now, soft and supple partner. During the copulation period, the dark leather will attempt to pass some of its genes onto the surface of the soft-supple-light-color leather; obviously leaving a very unexciting result.
